It is used when the company is selling various different types of product and they are not relatable at all, Then the Group of all the relatable item can be created. 
For e.g., Mobile is the group then all the mobile companies can be included in that group.  
It is made and used for making the storage of the products more easier. 
The company has got only two features i.e. Download and Print. 
The company can also see the whole summary of the group from any year with the help of the unique feature known as date range. 
The group once created can be deleted also as per the need of the company. 
The group is not a mandatory submodule it can enable only if the company wants to use it.
